How to Earn Money from YouTube Shorts?

The main way to earn from YouTube Shorts is through the YouTube Partner Program.
Once you’re part of YPP, you can earn money from ads shown between Shorts.

 Requirements (as of 2025):

You can qualify in either of these two ways:

• 1,000 subscribers + 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days, or

• 1,000 subscribers + 4,000 watch hours on long-form videos.

Once you meet these, apply for monetization in your YouTube Studio.
